My New Year's Eve Dres

Happy New Years Eve!!!! I hope you all have fun plans for NYE!!! We are going to my to a friend's house for a fun dinner and spending time with great people. When the kids were younger we would do the New York New Year's Eve. That's when you watch the coverage and celebrate at 9:00 eastern time. Now that the boys are older I hope we can actually make it to 12:00!!!

I love dressing up on NYE. Whether we were going to a fancy restaurant or just hanging at a friend's house I think NYE is the time to bring out that great dress that you may never wear any other time of the year. I love this Elizabeth and James dress. Of course it has sparkles and sequin (which are my faves). It is also chic and fits like a glove. I paired it with my favorite Jimmy Choo heels and this black clutch. I just love everything about this outfit. I can't wait to hear about your NYE plans. And what are you wearing? Thanks to Gabi Wells for photos and Happy NYE!!!!!

Save vs Splurge by everythingevelyne featuring platform pumps

I can't believe New Year's Eve is just around the corner. It's time to start putting the finishing touches on our fabulous outfits ladies. And don't forget about adding the perfect heel to your perfect outfit. I love this classic patent leather platform heel by Christian Louboutin. I'm absolutely obsessed, but it is a splurge at $875.00. I found this save option by Charles David which is also a patent leather platform heel for only $120.00. Whichever option you prefer, I hope you invest in a great heel for that special NYE outfit. Happy reading!!!!!

Sequin and Leather

As you all must know by now I cannot get enough of sparkles and sequins. I love wearing sparkles all year long, but it's especially fun during the holidays. I picked up this adorable sequin skirt from Nordstrom and usually wear it with a blazer. But this time I wanted to mix textures and decided to add a fun faux leather jacket with a basic tank and some amazing heels. I think this look of mixing the leather and sequins is so fun and edgy. I hope you all take a step outside your comfort zone and give this look a try. I highly recommend investing in a sequin skirt and adding a leather jacket. I think you will love it!!! Let me know how you mix textures!!! Thanks to Gabi Wells for photos and happy reading!!!!

Are you all of you finished with your holiday shopping yet? If you need some last minute gift ideas Neiman Marcus (@nmbeautyfi) has so many different great options. Last week I attended a beauty event at Neimans at Fashion Island hosted by some of my lovely blogger babes, Alyssa of @livinginstyleoc, Amanda of @amandaublog and Fernanda of @lipstickandlunges. At this event, I was lucky enough to sip some champagne and eat yummy treats while these beauties discussed different amazing beauty gift suggestions for the holidays. Some great ideas included some beauty sets from Jo Malone and Tom Ford, as well as Nest candles and La Mer products. We had a great time and I got a lot of wonderful ideas. Thursday Beauty Finds

Thursday Beauty Finds

Thursday Beauty Finds by everythingevelyne featuring a blending brush

It's the most wonderful time of the year, right?  Holiday parties are so much fun. I wanted to share with you my favorite party makeup essentials. I like to start my makeup routine by doing my eyes first. Many makeup artists have shared with me that it is better to start applying eye shadow and liner first because it can run down your face (I am obsessed with all the Naked Palettes by Urban Decay and I love this gel eye liner from Bobbi Brown). I also add mascara (my current fave is Better Than Sex by Too Faced). I then apply a great foundation (I love this one from Chantecaille-- It is light enough but provides great coverage), and concealer (I've been currently using this one by Nars). It's then time for your highlighting and bronzing powder to provide some added color (Bobbi Brown). I then finish off the look with the perfect red lip (loving this Tom Ford red), and voila you are ready for that upcoming party. Let me know about your favorite party beauty look. You can shop the look by clicking on the pictures below. Happy reading!!!!

Save vs Splurge

Save vs Splurge

Happy Tuesday!!! I don't know about you but I love great exercise clothes. Exercise is a huge part of my life and I need to feel confident and comfortable in my workout attire. Lately I have been looking for the perfect workout jacket. It has gotten so much colder in the mornings and I need to add warmer layers.

I just love this splurge Define jacket from Lululemon. It fits like a glove and is so warm and comfy, but it also carries a hefty price tag of $118.00. I found this save option from Zella and it looks almost identical with an affordable price tag of $45.00. Whichever option you choose, try out a great workout jacket, especially now that the cold weather has finally arrived!!! Happy reading!!!!

AIBI Watches

I just love a great watch. One of my current favorites is from AIBI. The story behind AIBI is so sweet that I must share it with you. The founder of AIBI met a man at a party wearing a simple watch. They ended up falling in love and to to memorialize their love and mark that special day, the they created a watch brand, AIBI, "A "and" B "means the first man and woman, and "I"stands for the intimate love between them.
Started by manufacturing watches for a Swiss watch brand in a small workshop, AIBI has become a successful watch company and existed for more than 10 years.  It does not only symbolize love, but also stands for sincere friendship, cooperation, success and the beauty of life. Isn't that just the perfect message for holiday time? This watch is not only durable but also versatile, and goes with so many of my outfits. So check out AIBI watches. I think you will love the collections. Thanks to Gabi Wells for photos and Happy reading!!!!!

Bring Out the Plaid

I think one of my favorite prints especially at holiday time is plaid. I think everyone can wear plaid. I just got this adorable plaid shirt from my friend Dari of @sassweetboutique . You must check out her online boutique here. She carries some great pieces.

I paired this perfect plaid shirt with some of my Topshop black skinnies, this cozy fur black vest, and my knee high flat boots ( which I seriously wear every day). This outfit is so comfy and I have a feeling I will be wearing it quite a bit over the next few weeks of holiday season. So don't forget to check out @sassweetboutique and try investing in a plaid shirt. Let me know how you style yours. You can shop the rest of my look by clicking on the pictures below. The Perfect Shirtdress

I think my new favorite outfit for this season is the basic shirt dress. I love dresses but finding dresses in the fall/winter is not easy. That's why I love this shirt dress-- It is so easy to just throw on when I'm on the go.  This version above is on sale right now at Nordstrom. There are so many different ways to style this dress. You can add tights, over the knee boots, or a denim jacket to name a few. The possibilities are endless. I added this adorable fur vest, some great Rag and Bone booties and my favorite Kendra Scott necklace and I was ready to conquer my day.  I think you will be surprised with how many different ways it can be worn. Let me know how you style yours!!! Thanks to Gabi Wells for photos and happy reading!!!!!
